Courses for Teachers - 02/09/2010

Teacher Training course on educational robotics and on organization of robot soccer exhibition

This course deals with the organizing of soccer robot's tournaments and with elements of Educational robotics. It will take place the 9th and 10th of September, 2010, in Cinisello Balsano (a city nearby Milan, Italy), and it is managed by the Polo Meccanica and the School of Robotics. It is free.

This course deals with two important subjects:

- Introduction to Educational robotics

- How to start a Soccer Robot's Tournaments

The main aim of this course is the introduction to Educational robotics as an educational tool in secondary schools' curricula.

The Robots Demos performed during the course by the students will be shown during the Pianeta Giovani 2010 Exhibit (Milan, 2010).
